Hi All I tried to install in August the RC of Windows 7 and had to leave it because I had the same problem I am having now: I have a msdn subscription and I have downloaded the Win 7 Ultimate, I recorded the ISO in two differents DVD and also I have created the booting USB following the indications of this forum (with UltraISO). The problem is that the installation app always gets stuck in the screen when it is copying the Windows files. The progress remains at 0% and never changes (after waiting for 3 hours.). It reads: Copying Windows files (0%).
And nothing happens. I can move the cursor and so on, but the DVD drive (or the USB drive) seems to be stopped. I have an AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2Ghz 2Gb RAM, HD SATA, DVD SATA as well. I just run the installer from the DVD or USB, select Language (English-UK), Select partition (C and format the partition, and then, in the screen where you can read 4 or 5 steps, the first step is 'Copying Windows Files (0%).'
