I'm trying to upgrade all of my VDPROJ installers to WiX so I can use Visual Studio 2012. All of the conversions report a success, but none of the WiX-based installers actually work. All of the VDPROJ installers work fine, so I assume it's from the conversion. I get the following error during the installation phase. I tried installing ArcSWAT 2.1.4a after installing the ArcGIS 9.3 Evalution Edition as well as its SP1. Also, Windows XP with SP3,.NET with SP1, and Adobe 9 are all already on my computer.

But when I try to install ArcSWAT 2.1.4a, I get this message: 'Unable to get installer types in the C: Program Files Swat ArcSWAT SWAT_HRUs.dll assembly. -->Unable to load one or more of the requested types. Retrieve the LoaderExceptions property.'

I ended up e-mailing Georgie Mitchell and I'll copy and paste her response, which worked out beautifully for me: 'We have had several users that have had this problem with the loading ArcSWAT. In the past this has fixed the problem: Make sure you install the Microsoft.NET 2.0 first and then make sure in arcgis you install the ESRI.NET package before installing arcswat. Below is a link: how to install.Net support for ArcGIS desktop. The instructions for loading ArcSWAT are on the SWAT website.' I hope this helps.
