Accu-chek Ir Software Software

Bernina Editor Lite V5 Software Reviews. The meter I reviewed yesterday seemed a bit dated. So I approached the Accu-Chek Connect with some skepticism. While I love the Accu-Chek cloud software. Accu-Chek 360̊ is designed to save and store your results to. (IR) window or USB cable. The Accu-Chek 360° diabetes management system software is compatible.

I have the same meter. I bought the software and infrared link for my computer from Roche. They said when I rang them that the driver would only work with there dongle(I/R link)and was in-compatible with my laptop with built-in I/R!!!!

In the U.S the software is free(If you don't mind having your results stored on-line). It is exactly the same as the U.K version!!! U.S Web link:- Software's called Diabetes Assistant. I'm pretty sure you can download the drivers from there as well, but don't quote me on that:) Yet again the U.K gets ripped of.

I used to use an Accu-Check Advantage but Roche's so called help desk was so unhelpful when I tried to get control solutions I gave up and bought a One Touch Ultra. Best move I made. Lifescan's help desk is very good, you have to buy a cable to connect to the computer but it only cost £10 and came the next morning after ordering it and the software is very good and a free download from their web site. Would not touch a Roche product with a barge pole now.

Another thing you can do is get a cable with smaller connectors, 9 pin male to 9 pin female, the connections must be 'pin to pin'. I don't know which connections are used but if you can solder it yourself, you can buy the bits at Tandy or somewhere similar and simply connect all the pins, pin 1 female to pin 1 male etc.

If you can't solder it, a normal 9 pin RS232 cable, male to female may work and will not do any damage if it doesn't, this must be 'straight through' not 'crossover' the same as a modem cable. Dragon Magazine 341 Pdf. I will test to see if it works trough a modem cable and let the group know.
